Hans Eisler project
Reinterpretation of some famous tunes by the German composer who was, together with K. Weill, B.Brecht's main composer.
He was less known than Weill because he chose to live in Eastern Germany, but sure he wasn't less fancy and interesting than his more famous collegue.
All the tunes were radically revised by an exceptional group. The project is a coss-sectional operation between contemporary music and newjazz.
Hartmud Geerken: voice , percussions, blow instruments and keyboards
Francesco D’Errico: piano
Claudio Lugo: sax soprano and laptop
Don Moje: drums and voice
Essential technical file:
One grand piano
Two small tables
One professional jazz set of drums.
One amplifying system suited for the place of performance with 4 monitors (separated lines).
